Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology at Bristol Myers Squibb leads the planning and execution of clinical pharmacology activities across drug development programs. The role involves applying PK/PD principles and model-based analyses to inform drug development decisions, mentoring team members, and collaborating cross-functionally on regulatory and development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical pharmacology study design, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Develop and execute clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics plans for assigned projects
- Provide input on Phase 2/3 clinical study design and registrational strategy with supervision
- Serve as clinical pharmacology subject matter expert on cross-functional teams and regulatory submissions
- Mentor and provide guidance to clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics staff
Requirements
- Master's, PhD, or PharmD in relevant field
- 5+ years experience in clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics with demonstrated progression
- In-depth knowledge of current clinical pharmacology practices and drug development processes
- Strong written and oral communication skills for scientific reporting and presentations
- Ability to work independently and mentor staff within the function
- Programming experience highly desired (NONMEM, R, WinNonlin, SAS, or similar)
- Quantitative data analysis and population PK/PD modeling skills highly desired
Compensation: $181,960 - $220,492 base
