Salesforce LWC Engineer - Senior / Engineering Lead

Title: Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) Engineer



Location: Dallas, TX (local candidates preferred | onsite/hybrid)

About the Role




A hands-on senior engineering position centered on modern Salesforce UI development. You'll own the LWC layer end-to-end - architecture, build, performance, and release - while guiding a small team of developers and setting the technical bar for how front-end work gets done on the platform.

What You Bring

Must-Have

• 10+ years total software engineering experience, with a substantial portion on the Salesforce platform

• Deep, production-level LWC expertise - component design, Lightning Data Service, wire adapters, events, lifecycle hooks

• Strong Apex - triggers, batch/queueable/scheduled jobs, governor limit management, test coverage

• Solid JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SLDS

• SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce data modeling, sharing and security architecture

• Integration experience - REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware patterns

• Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud implementation depth

• Deployment and release tooling - SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, change sets or Metadata API

• Demonstrated technical leadership - code review, mentoring, design ownership, direct stakeholder engagement

Nice-to-Have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II; Application or System Architect credentials

• Aura-to-LWC migration experience

• Experience Cloud, Flow/Lightning Flow orchestration, or Omnistudio

• Jest for LWC unit testing

• Agile delivery and distributed team model

What You'll Do

Build

• Architect and ship scalable LWC components and Lightning pages that hold up under real production load

• Write clean, testable Apex to back the front-end layer, keeping governor limits and bulkification front of mind

• Wire Salesforce to external systems through REST/SOAP services, Platform Events, and integration middleware

Lead

• Set component design standards, run code reviews, and mentor mid-level developers

• Translate business requirements into technical designs, then defend and refine those designs with stakeholders

• Drive migration of legacy Aura and Visualforce assets onto LWC

Sustain

• Tune page and component performance; diagnose and resolve production defects

• Manage deployments and release hygiene across sandboxes and production via SFDX and CI/CD

• Document architecture decisions and maintain a healthy, maintainable codebase

Work Setup

Dallas, TX - onsite/hybrid presence expected. Candidates already local to the DFW metro will move fastest.
