Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Forklift Drivers for a manufacturing client in Tolleson, AZ. Forklift Drivers perform a combination of product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Positions are long-term temporary and offer competitive compensation ($20-22.50/HR.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).


Available shifts include:
-Day shift, 6:30am-6:30pm
-Overnight shift, 6:30pm-6:30am

Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver:
-Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check, and report any equipment malfunctioning or damaged to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor.
-Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
-Review daily production schedule with Shift Supervisor, brings materials to the production lines when needed to execute schedule and notify supervisor of any materials running low.
-Remove, store, and unitize production scrap bales and informs warehouse personnel when there is enough for a full load.
-Remove finished goods and other materials in hold to assigned location.
-Participate in physical inventory taking.
-On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed.
-Complete written documentation as required.
-Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source.

Required Qualifications of the Overnight Forklift Driver:
-1+ years of previous sit-down forklift experience
-Proficient computer and typing skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, as well as work independently
