Overview As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you will be the Store Team Leader's go‑to for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team to become great merchants, delivering AEO brand visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team nails floorset execution, excels in merchandising and marketing brand standards, and ensures the store is always guest‑ready through effective replenishment. Responsibilities Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience, and analyzing reports and daily trends to make strategic business decisions. Cope your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store consistently reflects AEO brand standards and remains in top shape through day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments, and replenishment. Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, hold them accountable to customer‑service standards on the salesfloor and in the fitting room, and serve as a role model leader. Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs, train and develop the team, and provide ongoing performance feedback through coaching, touch‑bases, and performance reviews. Execute and innovate daily operational procedures, support visual standards throughout all store zones, and maintain guest‑ready fitting rooms. Maintain store safety and asset‑protection standards, adhere to company policies and procedures, and act with integrity. Qualifications Passion for AE and Aerie products. Previous experience leading retail teams. Strong multitasking, attention to detail, priority setting, and time management skills. Ability to lead and develop teams and general understanding of employment law. Business acumen. Flexible availability to work during guest‑shopping hours.
