The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services focused on family-centered care. This role involves developing treatment plans, managing medications, educating patients, and coordinating care across providers. Expertise in utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is essential for efficient documentation and continuity of care in this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage patient medications safely and effectively
- Provide patient education to promote health and wellness
- Coordinate care among multiple healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in family nursing
- Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Prescribing medication authority
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Experience in care coordination
