About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed Drivers for a regional direct-hire opportunity in Dalton, Ohio. Drivers will transport steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber within a 400-mile radius, typically operating 200–300 miles from the terminal.

Pay & Schedule Details

$37.50 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours
Monday through Friday schedule
Home every weekend
Typically 2–3 nights out per week
40 hours per week
$1,000 sign-on bonus
Anticipated start date: June 15, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Regional
Freight: Steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber
Equipment: Automatic-transmission trucks
Handling: Strapping and tarping as needed
Tarping bonus: $75 when tarping is performed more than three times per week
Truck amenities: Refrigerators and microwave hookups
No oversized loads
Ability to take the truck home
Pet and rider policies available
Home weekly
No slip seating

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned vehicles on local and regional routes
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Secure loads using straps and tarps as required
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, including flatbed experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
