Program Coordinator - Newborn Screening - Days Under the guidance of the Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and administering program functions to ensure productivity. The role works with community‐based organizations, hospitals, off‑site practices, and community practitioners to oversee program management and outcomes reporting. Responsibilities Ensure all newborn screenings are performed and appropriate state documentation is received. Connect families to suitable resources and maintain ongoing follow‑up. Serve as liaison between the New York State Department of Health, providers, and families. Perform blood collection and other clinical tasks as needed. Collaborate with hospitals and community practitioners to support program productivity. Requires on‑site presence; employees must live within commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses. Qualifications Preferred Criteria: Masters in Nursing or a related field. Certification in a related nursing field. Required Criteria: Clinical knowledge of newborn and postpartum patient populations. Knowledge of newborn screening regulations and processes. NY state licensed RN.

BLS (AHA).
