Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a hospital in Asheville, NC. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role supports acute care services including trauma, stroke, neonatal intensive care, pediatric care, cardiac and surgical programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current North Carolina respiratory care license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with ventilator management and advanced airway care preferred.
• Experience in Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke center, or neonatal intensive care environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
• Familiarity with interventional cardiology, open heart post-operative care, or pediatric respiratory care preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:30 - 19:00.
