Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Lafayette, IN

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Therapeutic Area Specialist for the Cardiovascular portfolio in the Indianapolis region. This field-based role drives demand for BMS medicines by engaging healthcare providers through scientific dialogue, building credibility with regional thought leaders, and executing territory plans to meet sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Promote BMS cardiovascular products within assigned territory to meet sales targets in compliant manner
- Conduct in-office presentations and scientific discussions with healthcare providers on product indications
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans using available analytical tools
- Organize external speaker programs and gather customer insights to inform internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in sales, medical affairs, healthcare, or nursing
- Proven ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
- Demonstrated track record building and maintaining credibility with healthcare providers and key stakeholders
- Cardiovascular therapeutic area experience preferred
- Strong account management and sales performance history meeting or exceeding targets
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with positive team mindset
