About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an Emergency Department as a traveler is preferred License: Active Registered Nurse Licensure in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Must-have skills include: Abdominal pain management, Asthma management, Blood product administration, Care of ventilated patients, Central line care, Triage, and Sepsis protocol. Description: The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for providing emergency nursing care in a team environment. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates must be adept in managing various medical emergencies, including trauma and respiratory conditions. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. The position requires adherence to protocols and standards while delivering high-quality patient care. Commitment to ongoing education and training is required to keep up with current practices and technologies in emergency nursing. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays may be necessary based on unit needs.
