Senior Communications Specialist

Work Flexibility: Hybrid In this role, you will develop and deliver engaging internal communications that keep teams informed, aligned, and ready to execute. You'll partner with business leaders across the organization, shape key messages, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve how information reaches employees. What You Will Do Develop and execute internal communication plans that support business initiatives, organizational priorities, and change management efforts. Create and publish content across multiple channels, including newsletters, leadership communications, presentations, intranet pages, webcasts, podcasts, and employee messaging platforms. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather information, develop messaging, and deliver communications aligned to business objectives. Manage communication calendars and schedules to ensure timely, consistent delivery of information across employee audiences. Draft and distribute business-critical and time-sensitive communications with a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness. Edit, proofread, and refine communication materials to ensure consistency with brand standards and organizational messaging. Track communication performance metrics, analyze engagement data, and recommend improvements to increase reach and effectiveness. Create presentations and visual communication materials that support employee engagement, business updates, and strategic initiatives. What You Will Need Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, corporate communications, or a related field. Experience creating and managing employee-facing communication content across multiple channels. Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, Teams, and virtual communication platforms. Experience supporting organizational communications, business transformation, or change management initiatives. Strong grammar, copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with email marketing, communication automation, or campaign management platforms. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design and content creation tools. Experience analyzing communication metrics and engagement data to measure effectiveness and optimize content strategies. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
