Part-Time Retail & Range Associate
Shooter’s Alley is looking for a reliable part-time team member for our indoor firearms and archery range and retail store in Mission, Texas.
This position is a good fit for someone who already works or attends school full-time and is looking for consistent additional hours in the evenings and/or on Saturdays.
We are looking for someone dependable, personable, professional, and comfortable working in a firearms-related retail environment. Firearms, archery, or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting customers on the retail sales floor
Helping customers with range check-in and checkout
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
Learning and enforcing shooting-range safety procedures
Processing retail transactions
Assisting with firearms, ammunition, accessories, archery products, and range services
Stocking and organizing merchandise
Maintaining a clean retail store and shooting range
Assisting with firearm sales and paperwork after proper training
Helping with closing procedures and other daily store operations
What we are looking for:
Reliable and punctual
Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn firearms, archery, and shooting-sports products
Comfortable working in a firearms-related environment
Able to work independently as well as with a small team
Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail duties
Saturday availability strongly preferred
Evening availability is a plus
Must meet all legal requirements applicable to working around and handling firearms
Schedule:
Approximately 15–25 hours per week , depending on availability and business needs.
We are especially interested in applicants who are available on Fridays, Saturdays, evenings, and during busy periods .
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, availability, firearms knowledge, and qualifications.
