Job Title

Provide revenue services to the general public and City departments.

Examples Of Duties

• Data scanning and imaging.
• Inventory control.
• Reviews account data for accuracy.
• Receives, verifies, and deposits all monies from various City departments.
• Posts accounting data to journals and ledgers.
• Balances daily electronic deposits and funds.
• Performs various clerical duties i.e. computer input/Word processing, process mail, and maintain files.
• All other duties as required.

*Leave of absences may be denied from January May due to increased departmental needs*

Typical Qualifications

• Two-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Two years experience in accounting with emphasis in tax, payroll, and finance accounting.
• One-year experience in general clerical and cash handling procedures including daily balancing of cash drawer.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office software and 10-key pad operation of CRT.
• Ability to communicate in writing and in person with general public, City employees and banking officials.
