Competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually Advanced Pay Option Annual Merit Increases Employee Referral Bonus Program Career Growth & Relocation Opportunitie Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist while helping patients improve independence with daily living activities, mobility, safety, and overall function. Key Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), self-care skills, mobility, and functional tasks. Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve strength, coordination, balance, and functional performance. Monitor patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment use, home safety, and strategies to improve independence while maintaining compliance with professional practice standards. Qualifications LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of practice. NBCOT certification preferred where applicable. New graduates welcome to apply where applicable. Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, assisted living, or post-acute care settings preferred. Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive equipment, cognitive rehabilitation, and functional mobility training. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
