Horticultural Sales Associate – Trees & Shrubs

Are you knowledgeable about trees, shrubs, and landscape plants? Do you enjoy helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces? Join our team as a Horticultural Sales Associate and share your passion for plants while delivering exceptional customer service in a thriving retail garden center environment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and identify their gardening and landscaping needs
- Provide expert recommendations on trees, shrubs, and plant care
- Educate customers on products, services, and seasonal solutions
- Monitor inventory and help ensure plants and products are well-stocked and maintained
- Enter and process customer orders accurately
- Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism
- Support merchandising efforts to create inspiring displays
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented garden center environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in horticulture, retail sales, customer service, or a related field (2+ years)
- Knowledge of trees, shrubs, and landscape plants preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor retail environment
- Organized, dependable, and team-focused
- Passion for gardening and helping customers succeed
