Material Handler

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $17.50

Shift: 4 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including Saturday

What's the Job?

  • Support production associates by receiving, dispensing, and maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor
  • Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with maintaining optimal inventory levels for vertical storage units (VSU)
  • Pull non-floor stock components for work orders, including printing necessary labels
  • Operate forklifts, carts, and other approved methods to transport materials between departments

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of forklift experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for long periods
