Production Associate

Position: Production Associate Location: Waynesville Pay Rate: $19.32/hour (+$2.00 night shift differential) Shift: Day Shift or Night Shift Available | 12-hour shifts Summary Description While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Production Associate (Inspector/Packer) is responsible for packing thermoformed trays quickly, safely, and accurately while supporting production flow and quality standards. What You’ll Be Doing Retrieve parts from trim press Place parts in specified relationship to each other Inspect stacks of parts for defects Place parts in bags, seal bags, and place them into corrugated boxes Tend machines such as trim press and pack station parts‑handling equipment Cut and stack sheet when needed Grind sheet and trays as needed Build and/or stage all packaging material per product specification Fill out labels and flow bills correctly Use pallet jacks to place skids of product in the warehouse Assist the Operator when starting the line Help train new employees when necessary Follow all safety policies and procedures Follow housekeeping standards Comply with all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor Work overtime as required We’d Love to Hear From You If You are mission-driven and quality focused Previous packing or warehouse experience is helpful You have a strong “get it done” attitude and urgency in completing tasks You have strong written and verbal communication skills You can work independently while managing multiple tasks You are reliable, proactive, and committed You can lift up to 50 pounds as needed You work effectively in a fast-paced team environment You can read and understand manufacturing instructions You can perform repetitive duties, including stairs and standing for long periods You can work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail No prior manufacturing experience is required Benefits At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
