CNC Machinist

Company is seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist to join our growing heavy-machining team. This role is ideal for machinists with experience in large-part machining, CNC setup, programming, and troubleshooting , particularly on Toshiba Horizontal Boring Mills .


Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Boring Mills for large-part machining
2. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
3. Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine
4. Perform machine setups, tooling adjustments, and offset corrections
5. Conduct first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
6. Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards throughout production
7. Collaborate with programming, fabrication, and quality teams to optimize machining processes

1. 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM)
2. Experience machining large or heavy industrial components
3. Strong knowledge of Mastercam, G-Code programming, CNC setup, and troubleshooting
4. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
5. Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

1. Experience with Toshiba BTD/BTH Horizontal Boring Mills
2. Multi-axis machining experience
3. Experience in fabrication, repair machining, or crane-served machining environments
