Details 13-week assignment in the Cat Scan department Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatric age Uses Epic for charting Start date is contingent on completion of credentialing clearance Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred If no CT license at time of hire, must obtain CT License within one year Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred) License required if applicable Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred Skilled in inserting and removing IVs Additional Information Performs CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with safety protocols Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, Massachusetts, at a reduced rate American Traveler Job ID P-748246.
