Quick Facts Location: Worcester, MA 01608 Start Date: 05/29/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing (project-based) Shift: Back-up on-call NICU coverage (hours vary) Hours/week: Flexible, based on backup/on-call needs Employment Type: Locum/Travel Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in MA, Board Certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine or Critical Care Medicine Experience: Prior NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Disclosed for application process) Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with relevant laws What You’ll Do Provide backup coverage for NICU on-call duties in a leading facility in Worcester, MA Evaluate neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Respond to on-call situations promptly and efficiently Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff and families Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards What You Need Active Medical License in Massachusetts Board Certification in Pediatrics, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine (preferred) Prior NICU or pediatric critical care experience Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to handle on-call responsibilities confidently About the Assignment This assignment involves providing backup on-call neonatal and pediatric critical care coverage in a reputable Worcester-based healthcare facility. You will support the NICU team during on-call hours, ensuring high-quality patient care.
