Pilates Instructor

Position Summary Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand. Job Duties & Responsibilities Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of the equipment Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs Instruct both private and group Pilates classes Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends Ensure all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming Document all aspects of client programming Remain current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program Provide fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED 1 year of personal training experience Experience in Pilates program design Certified Pilates Trainer Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair and Barrels Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds CPR and AED Certified Preferred Requirements 150–400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair) Pay This position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
