This position manages the accurate flow of products and materials through the warehouse and plays an important role in inventory control and order fulfillment.The ideal candidate has previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.Pay and ScheduleDay shift: $24.00 per hourNight shift: $25.00 per hourFull-time schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per weekCandidates must be flexible and available to work the assigned day or night schedule, including weekends and holidays as neededPrimary ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepanciesReport shipment issues promptly to managementVerify, organize, and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory recordsUse an RF scanner to track inventory and update recordsPick and pack orders accurately to support timely customer deliveriesOperate a forklift to move products and materials while following all safety proceduresProcess returns and exchanges accurately and professionallyMaintain clean, organized, and efficient inventory and storage areasCollaborate with warehouse employees and supervisors to support daily operationsMeet accuracy, productivity, safety, and customer-service expectationsParticipate in team meetings and continuous-improvement initiativesPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience is requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with order picking, packing, inventory control, and order fulfillmentAbility to use an RF scannerForklift experience is preferredBasic math and recordkeeping skillsKnowledge of distribution center or e-commerce operations is preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFlexible availability to work an assigned day or night schedulePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive warehouse tasksAbility to safely perform the essential duties of the position throughout a 10-hour shiftTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the position's essential functions and meet its physical requirements.
