Senior Integrations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software / Integration Engineer to join a cutting-edge platform focused on autonomous last-mile logistics orchestration. The system connects retailers, property owners, autonomous vehicle (AV) fleets, and delivery partners into a unified ecosystem enabling seamless, automated delivery operations. This role is centered on end-to-end ownership of partner integrations-from API contract design and technical analysis through implementation, production rollout, and ongoing operational support. Project overview You will contribute to the development of a distributed orchestration platform built on a microservices architecture, running in a cloud-native environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The platform heavily relies on API-driven communication, event-based workflows, and webhook integrations to enable real-time coordination between multiple external partners. You will work closely with product, engineering, and external partner teams to design scalable integration patterns and ensure reliable production-grade connectivity across the ecosystem. Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of partner integrations (design, implementation, testing, production support) Design and maintain RESTful APIs using OpenAPI 3.1 specifications Develop and support integration services in Go and/or Python Build and maintain webhook-based event processing systems Collaborate with external partners to gather requirements and define API contracts Debug and resolve production issues in distributed microservice environments Work with Kubernetes (GKE) to deploy and operate services in production Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Ensure high reliability, scalability, and observability of integration components Required skills & experience 5 years as a Software Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar role Strong proficiency in Go or Python Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI 3.1, and webhook architectures Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns Experience designing API contracts and working with external partners Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed production systems Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Business & soft skills Proven track record of delivering end-to-end partner integrations Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive projects Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1 or higher) Experience collaborating with cross-functional and external stakeholder teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
