High School Clerk

Under general supervision, positions in this class are located at the high school where incumbents oversee and participate in the clerical activities involving establishment and maintenance of official records of students. Positions in this class perform work which has considerable variation and which requires initiative in completing work within the regulations of the District. Work is sometimes reviewed upon completion; however, incumbents are expected to solve most problems without referral to an administrator.

Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Any combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities stated above and the ability to perform the duties of the position. -A typical qualifying entrance background is completion of formal and informal training in advanced clerical duties or a closely related field. -Bilingual preferred. Applicants selected for employment will be required to submit fingerprinting at their own expense.
