Phlebotomist Floater

Work Schedule: Monday-Fridays 8:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break, schedule may start as early as 6:00am- and work as late as 6:00pm depending on work location and travel and Saturday rotations Floater will cover Columbus, Lagrange and Americus GA and Auburn, GA areas. Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when necessary * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED or equivalent * 2 years or more of clinical experience in a hospital or physician office/lab experience * 2 years or more of Excellent customer service experience within healthcare Preferred Qualifications: * 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation * Be at least 21 years' old. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
