Generator Service Technician - Experienced

Benefits: Medical Insurance with company contribution for individuals and family; FSA and HSA options Vision and Dental Insurance Basic Life and AD&D Insurance Long-Term Disability 401k with company match 80 hours of vacation; accrued 40 hours of sick leave 9 Paid Holidays, including floating holidays Employee Assistance Program Other supplemental insurance options available Generator Service Technician - Experienced Pay: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience + commission opportunities Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm What We Provide: Take home company vehicle + gas card Company uniforms, phone, and tablet Cross-training available in gas, oil, propane, and HVAC Education and licensing program for oil, propane, and HVAC We are committed to not just providing jobs but careers for our employees Equipment training is provided for Bosch, Ecobee, Fujitsu, Buderus, Carrier, etc., throughout the year Relocation Assistance available for qualified applicants What You Will Be Doing: Perform scheduled service, preventative maintenance, and new installations of residential standby generators Coaching and developing entry-level technicians through hands-on training and guidance Complete inspections according to manufacturer recommendations Change oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance-related components Document maintenance findings accurately Identify potential concerns and communicate recommendations to customers and management What We Are Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on experience with generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train less-experienced technicians Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing demanding fieldwork as needed Generac Certification preferred, but not mandatory Strong mechanical skills with a willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge Additional experience with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, propane, or oil is highly valued Valid driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driving history Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Townsendtotalenergy
