This is a full-time, first-shift position for a dependable individual with apartment maintenance experience who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-maintained communities.QualificationsPrevious apartment maintenance experience preferredExperience with apartment turns (make-ready units)Basic HVAC knowledgeBasic plumbing experienceAbility to perform general maintenance and repairsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsReliable with the ability to work independentlyResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Completing apartment turns (make-ready units)Performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the propertyOiling door knobs, locks, hinges, and gates as neededRepairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drainsReplacing carpet and wood flooring as neededInstalling and repairing electrical outlets, plugs, and light switchesSweeping, mopping, and vacuuming common areasPainting common areas and exterior surfacesCollecting and disposing of trash in common areasMonitoring maintenance inventory and requesting supplies as neededInspecting and maintaining fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exitsAssisting tenants with lockouts when appropriateCoordinating and scheduling repairs that require specialized contractors or technical expertisePerforming other maintenance duties as assigned
