Position Summary

We are expanding our services in Hillsborough, FL.

* No on-call duties required.

* Work hours are from 10 AM to 7 PM, with one Saturday each month.

Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive medical care to adult patients. Your primary focus will be on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various illnesses and chronic conditions, while also promoting overall health and wellness. This role necessitates a solid grasp of internal medicine principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions

• Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic tests. Create and execute treatment plans for various medical issues, coordinating care across multiple specialties as necessary.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Employ diagnostic tools, medical imaging, and laboratory tests. Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and other interventions based on evidence-based practices tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
• Preventive Medicine: Emphasize preventive care and health maintenance, offering advice on lifestyle changes, vaccinations, and screenings.
• Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and current medical records are maintained, documenting patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in electronic health records.

Education Requirements

Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution.

Experience and Licensure

Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a current and valid medical license.

Preferred Qualifications
