Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and packaging. You will work collaboratively with a team to complete tasks and maintain production standards. Additionally, you may be involved in training new employees, working with operators, cleaning equipment, and performing various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check products for quality assurance and package them accordingly.

• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks.

• Assist in training new employees.

• Work alongside operators to maintain production efficiency.

• Clean and maintain equipment.

• Perform additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inspection, material handling, packaging, and assembly.

• Proficiency in visual inspection and quality control.

• Ability to use a tape measure effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable performing repetitive motions and standing for extended periods.

• Capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as needed.

• Comfortable working in noisy environments and potential exposure to extreme temperatures.

Work Environment

The position is based in a factory setting, requiring long periods of standing and occasional walking on the plant floor within a non-climate-controlled environment. Shifts are structured as follows: A and C Shift from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, B and D Shift from 6:30 PM to 7 AM. The schedule operates on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off basis, providing every other weekend off (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
