MUST HAVE ICU EXPERIENCE!! Call details: 1 to 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule - will usually get called in for a case or 2. Take call starting 0700 Saturday through Monday morning 0700. This is team call- 2 staff are called in together. On week night staff take 1 night a week but this is a back up call as there is in house coverage. Rarely ever called in.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.

Required Skills: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Floating is mandatory all travelers must float, including as Patient Observers (Sitters): ICU may float to PCU or MS units PCU may float to MS or ICU units MS may float to MS/Tele Pediatrics may float anywhere in the organization as a Patient Observer (sitter) Post-Partum may float to MS units L&D may float within Maternal/Child

Extensions: Effective 4/8/26, travelers can work up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts, (or 9 months of consecutive service). Following that, traveler must take a mandatory (6) month break before returning to MU Health Care in an agency capacity. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 4-6 hours Modules are completed during orientation and annually, and vary by specialty Modules are recorded by onsite manager through Cornerstone
