Financial Operations Analyst (recent graduates)

Russell Tobin is seeking an AWM - Operations - XIG Investment Oversight Analyst to support one of our leading financial services clients in Salt Lake City, UT . This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their career in investment operations and financial services. Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension) Basic Qualifications 1–5 years of professional experience preferred. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail with experience producing accurate, customized client materials. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry. Ability to collaborate across product groups, regions, and functional teams. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and data-gathering skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of risk management concepts and operational controls. Experience building tools or dashboards to monitor portfolio exposures, limits, and risk. Experience partnering with trading, operations, and risk teams to improve workflows. Strong client service mindset with experience supporting transactions and operational reporting. Quantitative skills with experience using Excel, Bloomberg, Python, or Tableau are a plus. CFA designation or progress toward CFA is advantageous. Education Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience in Financial Services is highly preferred.
