HR Coordinator (Confidential Company) Location: El Monte, CASchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Duration: Temporary assignment (3-6 months leave coverage) A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Coordinator to support daily Human Resources operations. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and visitors while assisting with onboarding, employee records, HR compliance, workers' compensation administration, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct new hire orientations and process onboarding documentation
- Maintain employee records, I-9 compliance, filing, scanning, and record retention
- Support HRIS data entry, reporting, and administrative functions
- Assist with employee questions, requests, and HR-related inquiries
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and employee accommodations
- Manage unemployment, disability, and other employment-related paperwork
- Facilitate exit interview processes and offboarding activities
- Support employee programs, events, wellness initiatives, and communications
- Maintain OSHA injury logs and assist with compliance-related activities
- Process invoices, direct deposit requests, and other HR administrative tasks
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Previous administrative or HR support experience
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Temporary position expected to last 3-6 months
- Full-time schedule
- El Monte, CA (onsite)
