Shipping & Receiving SupervisorMon-Fri 7am033pm$20hr+ DOEPosition SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities to ensure the accurate and efficient movement of materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This position supervises daily warehouse operations, maintains inventory accuracy, coordinates freight shipments, and ensures compliance with company safety and quality standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving OperationsPlan, organize, and schedule daily shipping and receiving activities to meet customer and production requirements.Ensure adequate shipping, packing, and warehouse supplies are available to support operations.Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders to confirm accurate quantities and correct materials.Document and report damaged shipments, shortages, incorrect items, or discrepancies to the Materials Manager.Coordinate the timely processing of receiving documentation and ensure accurate entry into the company's ERP/computer system.Arrange and coordinate carrier pickups to ensure on-time shipments.Inventory ControlMaintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, shipping supplies, and finished goods.Ensure materials and finished products are stored in an organized, safe, and space-efficient manner.Monitor inventory movement and maintain proper inventory control procedures.Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts as required.Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.Shipping & Order FulfillmentPull finished goods from inventory to fulfill customer orders according to sales and shipping documentation.Verify order accuracy through proper counting and documentation procedures.Prepare, package, label, and pack customer shipments in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.Ensure products are properly protected to prevent damage during transportation.Verify that all required Quality approvals have been obtained prior to shipment.Warehouse & Material HandlingSupervise and participate in the loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials and finished goods.Operate material handling equipment, including:Sit-down forkliftsStand-up forkliftsPallet jacksPowered hand trucksCarts and dolliesSafely lift, transport, and position heavy materials as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.Safety & ComplianceFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.Promote safe work practices throughout the warehouse and shipping areas.Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns to management.Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
