Senior IT Project Manager

Job Description

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource availability.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor milestones, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes.

• Facilitate recurring project status meetings and stakeholder discussions while providing clear communication on project progress and roadblocks.

• Prepare and deliver project status reports, financial updates, budget tracking, and gap analysis reporting for leadership teams.

• Coordinate activities across business and technical teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and project objectives are achieved.

• Track project actions between status meetings, following up with stakeholders to drive accountability and timely resolution of open items.

• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting artifacts within Microsoft Project and SharePoint.

Partner with leadership to identify potential impacts to timelines, budgets, and resources, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Skills and Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in Project Management

· Software Development Lifecycle - enhancements to existing proprietary platforms, including web based tools.

· Experience handling multiple medium sized projects at once

· Ability to create schedules, track changes, schedule meetings/ ad hoc meetings

· Waterfall status reporting experience

· Tracking work between project status meetings – not waiting for status meetings

· Track budget vs. actuals across all projects

· Financial reporting experience to provide gap analysis

· Experience monitoring budget- Manage scope vs. funding alignment (change requests, re-baselining)

· Executive level reporting

· MS Project

SharePoint, MS Suite (Word doc, excel, teams, etc.)
