Job Description Job Description JOB TITLE: Order Fulfillment Associate / Long Term Temp Assignment M-F / 9-5 DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Communications FACILITY LOCATION: Woodbury, NY SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE in Need of an Order Fulfillment Associate to work in our Direct-to-Consumer distribution center in Woodbury, Long Island, New York. We are seeking someone energetic, with an innovative mind to bring positive change to our facility and processes. This fulfillment center handles a wide array of companies clothing, merchandise, food, and beverage products which are shipped directly to our ecommerce customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • This role handles all aspects of fulfillment including receiving, inspecting, and counting new products, gathering inventory, tagging, labeling and put-away, as well as packing and shipping of online orders. E Order Fulfillment: Fulfill daily retail orders; pick items from inventory needed for current orders and then pack orders accurately and quickly to ensure customer satisfaction: o Use pick lists to physically pick inventory from product bins. o Double check that all quantities and styles picked match what is listed on the order. o Pack items in a shipping box or polybag in a way that is neat, safe, organized, and efficient. o Purchase postage using Ship Station software and ensure packages are sent with the most efficient and cost-effective carrier; FedEx/USPS • Receiving and Put-Away: o Receive new products, count and tag items and enter accurate inventory into management software. o Restock items on shelves, as needed. • Organization and Inventory Management: o Organize stock, inventory counts and maintain proper stock of supplies. o Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure timely fulfillment. o Coordinate for the repacking of product into different sizes and configurations. Qualifications & SKILLS • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude. • Experience directly working in order fulfillment desired. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel is a must. • Experience working with Shipstation or similar shipping software a plus. • Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time. • 1-Year of experience working retail or packing/ fulfilling orders for shipping. • Work is on-site near our Farmingdale (Long Island) NY facility.
