Senior Customer Executive II

This position is home office based and is accountable for managing the Refrigerated and Deli business at H-E-B, a supermarket chain headquartered in San Antonio, TX. This sales territory has direct accountability for $72MM in net sales annually. The ideal candidate for this position should demonstrate the skills and abilities to think strategically and differently on how we can best serve this retailer's shopper with solutions on responsible brands.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and executes sales and distribution plans at the account level with H-E-B.
• Collaborates with the Customer Business Manager and Sales Strategy team to develop annual Sales plans that are aligned with those of the operating units.
• Identifies threats and opportunities in the categories that we compete in that could affect sales volume, market share, trade efficiencies and profitability to the company and communicates them to their Customer Business Manager.
• Penetrates Category Managers at the customer to implement sales and marketing initiatives and maximize customer development.
• Aligns the DSMP's established by the business unit to ensure the execution of distribution, shelving, merchandising and pricing (DSMP) objectives are met.
• Works closely with sales strategy, business analytics, and revenue growth management teams to scenario plan for maximum impact and efficiencies. Collaborates with the customer on these plans to drive mutually profitable sales.
• Interprets information from the sales strategy team regarding category sales, brand sales, share growth and promotional efficiency. From this information the incumbent provides insights and recommendations on tactics used to drive sales on responsible brands.
• Develops a deep understanding of Retailers' omni channel capabilities and ensures investments align with these customer capabilities.
• Responsible for continuing to develop and enhance their competencies through participation in learning and development workshops. These include, but not limited to training available at the local, regional and national meetings intended to improve selling techniques, knowledge of the customer and company, and other business practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of sales/marketing/sales strategy experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply business analytics.
• Pattern of initiative.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take opportunities from conception to execution.

Preferred:

• 4+ years of sales/marketing/sales strategy experience.
• Deli and refrigerated experience preferred.

Location: Home Office (San Antonio, TX)

A comprehensive relocation package to the San Antonio, TX area will be offered, if required.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Customer Executive II role is between $100,300 - $140,425 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
