The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) Medical Center is a thriving hub for Radiology services in central Arizona. Our Radiology Service is among the largest clinical departments, with over 130 dedicated employees spread across 9 specialized divisions. These include:

• Staff Radiology
• Vascular and Interventional Radiology Services
• CT Services
• Nuclear Medicine Services
• Ultrasound Services
• Breast Imaging Services
• Diagnostic Radiology

With 24 radiologists already on board, you'll be part of a diverse and dynamic team dedicated to providing top-tier care to our Veterans.

Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary : Up to $400,000 annually
• Annual Performance Bonus & Regular Salary Increases
• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment*
• Sign-on Bonus : Up to 25% of your annual salary
• Paid-Time Off : 50–55 days of annual PTO (26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME)
• Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% contribution by VA
• Insurance : Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance (carry into retirement)
• CME : Possible $1,000/year reimbursement

• Flexible Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting

Employment Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
• Unrestricted License : One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory
• U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are not available, per VA policy

*This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements and submit an EDRP application within four months of their start date.
