Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at the New Cross Center for Mental Health, you will:

  • Conduct individual and couple therapy sessions, focusing on the unique needs of each client.

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for clients, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each family’s situation.
  • \n
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that address issues such as family conflicts, grief and loss, job stress, and communication difficulties.

  • Support clients through various transitional life events, such as separation, divorce, and adjustments in blended families.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records per HIPAA regulations to ensure the quality of care.
  • \n
  • Participate in regular supervision meetings to optimize treatment approaches and enhance your own professional development.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will cover a diverse array of clients, including:

  • Individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and isolation.
  • \n
  • Couples seeking to improve communication and navigate relationship dynamics.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position must possess:

  • A valid, active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
  • \n
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver empathetic and effective therapy to clients.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a caseload efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients and the clinical team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
