The Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst (SDET) is a Technology/Engineering role involving both development and testing. As a member of the SCRUM team, you will be delivering customer‑facing banking and/or credit‑card features on digital channels such as browser and mobile. You will be involved in all stages of the Agile SDLC cycle: Requirement analysis : grooming of user stories, story pointing, decomposing big stories into smaller stories and defining acceptance criteria; Design Review : reviewing screens, flows, features, and customer communications (emails, SMS’s, notifications, PDF documents) and ensuring consistency with acceptance criteria; Software development : developing, configuring and debugging applications comprising web and mobile front‑end and micro‑services; Validations : creating automated and manual test scripts on a BDD (Behavior‑Based Development) framework, executing test scripts, identifying, triaging and fixing defects, and maintaining test data; Artifact Ownership : creating and maintaining test artifacts such as test plans and exit reports, maintaining traceability as per SDLC guidelines, and ensuring no untested code goes to production; SDLC Process and Standards : adhering to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines, participating in retrospectives, process‑improvement workshops and audits, and performing root cause analysis; Postproduction support : supporting technical check‑outs during release go‑live and post‑production activities. Responsibilities Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms (e.g. iOS, Android, web/Angular, Java Spring Boot services). Use AI tools like Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and debugging. Develop and maintain BDD automated and manual scripts in a code repository. Execute them, maintain test results in a test‑management tool for reporting and establishing traceability. Create Jenkins jobs and plug into a CI‑CD pipeline. Accelerate unit tests, API scaffolding, Angular components, and Spring Boot boilerplate using AI tools. Actively participate in the entire software‑development cycle, integrating development and end‑to‑end testing in a CI/CD environment (RTC, Jenkins, RLM). Automate and enable shift‑left. Be accountable for development, design, construction, testing and implementation, writing secure, stable, testable and maintainable code. Create and maintain documentation for your features, building SME expertise covering end‑to‑end flows, from digital to downstream to external partners. Analyze root causes for application issues and performance concerns. Collaborate across the scrum team, downstream/upstream entities and external partners to resolve issues. Triage, track and report defects, then prioritize, fix and close them. Adhere to SDLC control processes and suggest continuous improvements. In addition to functional validations, validate responsive web design and ADA accessibility using screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack, code scans with Axe, and other ADA tools. Review metrics and proactively pursue new ways to improve visibility of program progress or excellence. Work in a fast‑paced environment involving onshore and offshore teams. Education, Qualification & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related STEM field, or equivalent work experience. 5‑8 years of full‑stack web/mobile development and testing experience in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with functional and API test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Postman and Jenkins pipelines. Preferable experience with cloud‑based development platforms such as OpenShift. Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office suite. Self‑motivated and ready to take ownership. Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
