On-Call Caregiver/CNA

This on-call role is a critical and helpful part of the company to help provide consistent care. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable CNA to provide personalized support to seniors of all abilities.

This role requires someone who is adaptable, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.

Your primary role is to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders and transportation and to provide positive interactions to support clients and their families while embracing our Four Core Values: Be Reliable, Help Others, Find Solutions and Exceed Expectations.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00/hour

Schedule:  Monday-Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (40 hours per week) or Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (24 hours, every other weekend)

Days, weekends, and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to on-call scheduling needs, including short-notice shifts
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with a wide range of care, from companionship to total care and end-of-life care.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene and grooming, dressing and mobility support
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities and observations
- Support clients in community activities and appointments as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Work respectfully and effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds and needs

Additional Responsibilities
- Provide care in homes where animals may be present
- Assist with basic pet-related tasks if needed (e.g., letting dogs out, feeding animals)
- Ensure a safe environment for both clients and household pets

Qualifications:
- 3 years of caregiving experience required
- Current CNA license required
- Have personal, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work in a home or facility
- Willing to work with both male and female clients
- All levels of care, ranging from companionship, total care, and end of life, including Hoyer and gait belt experience, Dementia and Parkinson's Disease
- Comfortable working in environments with pets/animals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and compassionate in all situations
- Willingness to work flexible, on-call shifts
