Must-Have:
Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing


Description:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service.
Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse license in the state.
BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation certification is essential.
Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service.
Certification in the S.T.A.B.L.E program is preferred.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is also preferred.
The facility includes 26 labor, delivery, recovery suites and other specialized rooms.
It is an academic teaching service as well as a large private obstetrics practice.
The service performs over 500 deliveries per month in a high-risk and fast-paced environment.
24-hour in-house attending obstetric coverage is provided, along with anesthesia coverage and NICU coverage.
A perinatal transport program is also in place.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
