As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Hospital Access in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through routine rounds and professional interactions, reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive vaccines required for hospital settings.
• Must be willing to work in proximity to a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
