Clinical Nurse Manager (RN)

Essential Functions / Responsibilities Proficient in all responsibilities related to case management, including providing assessments to a group of patients in accordance with protocols and procedures. Manage and treat wound care, perform procedural skills, provide patient and caregiver education regarding wound management. Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to staff such as RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, and hyperbaric oxygen technicians. Collaborate with other health‑care providers, key hospital personnel, program director, and medical director on clinical and patient needs. Continuously review processes and procedures, identify and implement improvements while complying with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Engage in staff development by providing in‑service training and individual instruction and orientation; recognize staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Coordinate program objectives, budgetary and financial aspects in partnership with the program director. When the program offers vein care services, coordinate the vein clinic and provide care as needed after completing the Healogics vein clinic training. Assist the program and medical director in meeting wound care center quality indicators. Function as a documentation assistant (scribe), as well as a hyperbaric safety director after required training; may also act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator. Provide patient care to meet center staffing needs and perform other duties as required. Required Education, Experience, and Credentials Current RN license; maintain throughout employment. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. A minimum of one year of RN experience; two or more years preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Wound‑care certification preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required. Planning, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate in lay terms at all organizational levels. Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently. Strong customer service, follow‑up, analytical, and quantitative skills. Leadership, team‑building, motivational, and problem‑solving skills. Research and teaching abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of hospital database systems and web‑based databases. Physical Demands Stationary position for extended periods (4+ hours). Viewing computer screen for extended periods (4+ hours).Keyboard use for 4+ hours. Good vision (close, distance, peripheral). Communication, writing, and occasional lifting/moving of items up to 20 pounds; up to 75 pounds with assistance. Movement: pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, traveling by car or airplane. Work Environment Normal office setting; primarily indoor environment. Patient care environment with possible exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable gases, mechanical hazards, and moving objects. Salary The salary for this position generally ranges between $87,200.00 and $117,500.00 annually, depending on qualifications such as education, experience, geography, and operational needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
