Senior Security Engineer Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to strengthen and stabilize their security operations. This role is designed for a hands‑on technical expert who can operate independently, bridge capability gaps, and provide leadership across multiple security domains. Key Responsibilities Assume ownership of critical security functions to ensure operational continuity Design, implement, and optimize network detection and response (NDR) capabilities Deploy, configure, and maintain security-focused hardware and software systems Architect, configure, and manage enterprise security platforms, including SIEM and log management solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK) Architect, configure, and manage enterprise security platforms, including Log Analysis Framework (LAF) solutions Build, deploy, and harden virtual machines and supporting infrastructure Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security and IT staff Support incident response, threat detection, and security operations initiatives Collaborate with specialized security teams to enhance resilience, performance, and security posture Drive improvements in system hardening, monitoring, and defensive capabilities Ideal Candidate Profile Strong background in security engineering across network, infrastructure, and platform security Proven experience with network detection and response, monitoring, and log management systems Hands‑on expertise in virtualized environments and enterprise infrastructure Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms, specifically Splunk and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Comfortable operating in both hardware and software security ecosystems Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team of subject matter experts Adaptable, solution-oriented, and effective in fast‑paced, evolving environments Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Nice to have: CISSP certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
