We're hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.We're looking for a Material Planner to own the execution side of supply chain planning from release of planned orders to delivery of material to the production line. The Material Planner will be running regular Clear-to-Builds (CTBs) for all products, prioritizing shortages with immediate impact and directing the Buyers to work with suppliers on updating delivery schedules to mitigate the risk to the production line.ResponsibilitiesOwn weekly Clear to Build sessions with Purchasing across Air, Ground, and Kits/Accessories product lines to maintain supply chain velocityProvide early visibility to Purchasing, Production, and Contracts teams on material status and part shortagesManage effectivity dates for engineering changes to minimize excess & obsolescence while maximizing production attainmentAlign cross-functional teams' priorities to mitigate risk to production linePartner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure accurate MBOM releases and make-versus-buyCollaborate with GSMs to maintain master data accuracy including preferred suppliers, lead times, tiered pricing, and commodity classifications for all new partsYou should have the following2+ years supply chain planning experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments with cross-functional team leadership and procurement decision-making authorityHands-on experience running clear-to-build sessions, and managing material planning from order release through production attainmentComprehensive understanding of MBOM management, make-versus-buy analysis, and direct experience working closely with engineering teams on bill of materials accuracyProven track record managing supply chain scaling from low-rate initial production through high-volume manufacturing in fast-growth companiesExperience with master data managementAbility to work effectively in startup environments with lightweight processes while maintaining accuracy and accountability for procurement spendBachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent supply chain experienceNice to haveProficient in ExcelExperience with MRP systems material planning in manufacturing environmentsBackground in aerospace, robotics, or electro-mechanical assembly supply chains with complex multi-level BOMs and long-lead specialty componentsPrevious startup or high-growth company experience managing supply chain through rapid scaling phases and organizational changesUS Salary Range$97,500 - $136,500 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
