Job Title Sr .Net Programmer Location Irving, TX Start Date ASAP Job Type Permanent, Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Assist in the technical design of new platforms and modules. Program new code, maintain existing code, and perform unit testing/debugging of assigned coding tasks. Provide production support for specific applications or groups of applications, including development of new code, problem analysis, break/fix, testing, and promotion to the production environment. Architect new applications and develop conceptual design documentation, including data layers. Develop and produce required coding design documentation and complete accurate documentation for work based on current CMMI Level3 standards. Write test cases for assigned programming and coding activities to ensure the finished product meets design objectives and other criteria. Manage and control own tasks, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Report weekly status to the Project Management Team, identify problems and bring them to project manager attention, and report changes in scope or work effort that could affect budget or delivery dates. Record time and status into project tracking systems accurately and in a timely manner. Work effectively as part of a team, supporting team goals above individual goals and suggesting ways to better accomplish assigned tasks and overall project objectives. Understand how supported software programs fit into the overall system lifecycle. Provide first‑level advice/assistance on procedures and work methods for others at the same level. Interact with users within limits set by supervisors and management. Qualifications 10+ years of intense and versatile experience in developing business applications using Microsoft development tools such as C#, JavaScript, VBScript, CSS, HTML, IIS, XSL, SMTP/TLS, Visual Studio, NAS, cloud storage, Web Services, XML, Data Transformation Services, and SQL Server 2005 and 2008. Strong understanding of application development lifecycle principles and methodologies. Expert proficiency in Microsoft programming languages and tools. Experience as a lead developer for web application development projects. Experience with architecting new applications and developing conceptual design documentation. Experience in reading and writing technical specification documentation. Ability to develop and produce required coding design documentation. Experience in working with Senior Business Analysts and Testing Teams to confirm and substantiate functional and technical designs. Analytical ability to code, test, and modify simple to complex modules. Skills in technical specification writing, business writing, initiative, innovation, leadership, oral communication, problem solving, and professional relationships. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field; or equivalent experience. Experience 10+ years in application design, development, and testing. 10+ years with Microsoft Development Tools & SQL Server. 10+ years in design, development, and maintenance of web‑based applications.
