Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maine
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and modalities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
