Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Nurse

Crowne Health Care is currently accepting applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Nurse within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.
We are looking for compassionate, dependable nurses who are committed to providing excellent resident care. This position requires strong clinical skills, accountability, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Candidates must enjoy working with residents, families, and fellow team members.

Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License or Temporary PN License
- Must successfully pass required background screening and drug screening
- Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Essential Job Functions
- Administer medications accurately and according to physician orders and facility policies
- Complete required computerized documentation and resident assessments
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to physicians, responsible parties, and appropriate clinical staff
- Order and manage medications through the pharmacy
- Supervise and provide direction to CNA staff
- Provide wound care and treatments as ordered
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Complete required assessments and documentation accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacy staff, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Follow all applicable nursing standards, facility policies, and state and federal regulations
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care at all times
