Architectural Project Manager – Cinematic Theaters Position Summary Join our partner firm, GastingerWalker&, as an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to lead the design and coordination of complex architectural projects, with a strong focus on cinematic theater environments. In this role, you will manage projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external consultants to ensure design excellence, technical accuracy, and timely delivery. Follow us on LinkedIn -> GastingerWalker&Learn more about us on our company page -> GastingerWalker& Essential Responsibilities: Project Leadership & ManagementLead projects from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and adherence to schedules.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and timelines.Oversee internal project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality review. Cinematic Theater Design ExpertiseLead and coordinate specialized design elements unique to cinematic and theatrical environments, including auditorium layout, sightlines, acoustics, projection technology, seating systems, and overall audience experience.Collaborate with specialty consultants (A/V, acoustics, lighting, theater planners) to seamlessly integrate technical systems into architectural designs. Client & Consultant CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, design presentations, and progress updates.Facilitate coordination among multidisciplinary engineering teams and external consultants.Represent the firm in on-site and off-site meetings, including client workshops, construction meetings, and consultant coordination sessions. Technical & Documentation ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Ensure design solutions comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements.Lead construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, punch lists, and ongoing contractor communication. Team CollaborationCollaborate closely with internal leadership to support project planning, resource allocation, and adherence to firm standards.Promote a positive, productive, and collaborative studio culture through daily in-office engagement.
