PA-Production Lead

PA-Production Lead Department: Production Employment Type: Full Time Location: Pennsylvania - King of Prussia Reporting To: Courtney Miller, Jared DeLisa Compensation: $21.00 / hour Description The Production Lead will work closely with all leads and managers to ensure packaging efficiency and priorities within the packaging team, utilize/troubleshoot all packaging equipment and standard processes, and help to guide new packaging employees. Production Lead will also be responsible for all packaging and equipment. This role will be on site at our King of Prussia facility and hours will be Monday-Friday day shift. Key Responsibilities In this role you will: Support the Operations and Logistics Managers in daily operations Evaluate and ensure efficiency, completeness, and consistency of all packaging lines Communicate expectations and assign tasks to the team Train the support team on operational procedures to ensure constancy across our product lines Ensure machines are functioning properly and prioritize maintenance in alignment with the Operations Manager Inspect finished products visually and manually to guarantee accuracy and quality as well as auditing completed batches before transferring to fulfillment Lead the team on new projects and manage the daily schedule Perform support staff duties as needed Delegate tasks to support staff, including material organization, waste disposal, and cleaning areas Create and print compliant and accurate batch labels to ensure we remain compliant Utilize our seed-to-sale system, METRC, effectively and to government standards Receive and manage transfers from the production team Understand procedures for safely opening and closing the facility Skills, Knowledge & Expertise You’ll be a great fit if you have the following: You have experience working on a production line, bonus points if you’ve worked in cannabis You believe in communication first and discussing issues early and often You push for process and believe in keeping organized and clean workspaces first and foremost You think ahead and can work with senior leaders to plan the day to day projects that need completing You have a proven track record to navigating conflict with your team When you see a problem, you attack it head on and work to find the best solution for the whole team You show up to work on time and with a great attitude every day You can look at data and see where that can inform choices we make as a team You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
